HDE 192 Internships

Are you an HDE student who has completed HDE 140L and eager to gain advanced work/learning experience? We have the perfect opportunity for you!

Join our team as an intern and receive 4 HDE 192 units for 10 hours of direct service with children, plus 2 hours of independent coursework. Additional lab hours and continued service may be compensated with more units or hourly pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and clean up indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Engage in children’s play, offering developmentally appropriate support
  • Facilitate small-group learning experiences
  • Support children during feeding routines (snack/lunch)
  • Assist with diapering/toileting and transition to rest/nap time
  • Provide individualized support, implementing action plans for differentiated learning
